This holiday cottage near Loch Lomond, Scotland  provides luxury self catering accommodation for 4 people in 2 bedrooms, which can be double or twin as required.
Sunny and south facing, Ballat Smithy Cottage is the ideal base for a self catering short break in Scotland, located only a short distance from the world famous 'Bonnie Banks' of  Loch Lomond, and equally close to Rob Roy Macgregor's Trossachs homeland; Stirling and Glasgow are a half hour drive away, Edinburgh and Perth one hour, and much of Argyll, Perthshire, Ayrshire and South East Scotland is  accessible in less than two hours. For those who do  not wish to venture too far  there are many wonderful scenic drives, walks and attractions close to  the cottage.

This charming holiday cottage was created within the workshops of the late 18th Century Ballat Smithy. It is ideally
situated in lovely countryside midway between the tranquil east banks of Loch Lomond and the breathtaking grandeur of the Trossachs; a very central base for walking in Argyll, the Trossachs, Perthshire and the Southern Highlands. Golf, fishing, cycling, horse riding and numerous other activities are all nearby.

What's Included?

The cottage provides holiday let accommodation for four people in two bedrooms equipped with double or twin beds as required;  a cot is available. There is a sitting/dining room with kitchen, and a  bathroom with electric shower over the bath. The accommodation is all on one level,  except for one step up to the bathroom.

All heating, electricity, linen and towels are  included in the price. The kitchen is stocked with our very popular welcome pack of provisions: Scottish oatcakes, cheese and bacon, local milk, butter and free range eggs, plus our own home made bread and jam. Tea, coffee, sugar and other essentials are also included.

For quiet times there are Smart TV with Freesat, DVD player, books and games; the cottage also has free wireless broadband internet access.
There is private parking and a small  garden with sheltered patio. Children are welcome; the cottage is strictly no  smoking, and we do not allow pets.
